DESCRIPTION
Biggest project up to date, winner of several prizes at our school. Adventure game based in a tropical environment, with Indonesian influence and with a big focus on aesthetics and immersion. The prototype consists of a platforming and interaction showcase of what would become a fully developed game later in the future.
The project was divided in 2 periods, the first one being research, design and preparation, while the second one it was for development (8 weeks each). The game was later presented in a game demo, where all teams from our school year would compete and showcase their games with different prizes to be given to the teams.
MY CONTRIBUTION

Preparation of all the desk research and preparation of our own case scenario, target audience and preparation of the concept.

Market research, Business Plan, Testing Sessions, Focus Groups

Better understanding of sculpting and normal baking

Learned how to setup LOD’s in Blender and export them to Unity

Understanding making sculpted foliage, turn it into planes and use of opacity maps.
